Ceramics are made from water and clay that is poured into molds, dried and then fired in a kiln.
Learn how this ancient technique of working with molds is done by pouring your own greenware. After letting the clay set in the mold for about 15 minutes you can open the mold, magically remove your item and begin painting it. This is a great activity for young children as they learn the art of ceramic figurine making and paint an item that they can take home right away. This project can generally be completed in about 1 hour and costs about $20.
Save the cost of studio fee as there is no firing involved!
